The Hammam is Terazi Spa’s version of the near-mystical traditional Turkish bath. The specially designed facility housing a traditional marble-lined bathhouse is the only one of its kind in Makati.
A visit to Terazi’s Hammam is in itself, a journey. The treatment begins with a full-body steam followed by a dousing, to prepare you for the relaxation. Lying down on the heated marble bed, a deep body exfoliation using the traditional ‘kese’ mitt is used to cleanse every inch of your body. Immediately after, you will be covered in a cloud of soapy bubbles, to wash away dead skin cells. Your treatment is completed with a cold, refreshing drink, served in The Terazi Tea Lounge.
Due to the heightened temperature, the Hammam is not advisable for those suffering from hypertension, heart disease, skin diseases/ailments, and asthma or those who have recently undergone a surgical procedure. It is advisable to arrive at least 15 minutes before their appointment.
