The concrete jungle that is Makati has always been a marvel to walk around. While most citizens travel in a car, or a jeepney, they tend to miss out on some of the urban wonders of the city. The 70s saw the establishment of several buildings that have become architectural institutions in Makati. Monuments to our national heroes Gabriella Silang, Sultan Kudarat, Pio del Pilar, and Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino stand as vigilant sentinels along the Ayala Triangle area, watching the traffic go by. Taking a walk, or a jog around the Paseo de Roxas area gives you the opportunity to see all of the statues in their bronze glory. Best of all, it’s free.

“Stayed at the Discovery Primea Makati for two nights in May in their Two Bedroom Primea Suite. This is truly an above and beyond hotel which after its soft launch I would be surprised doesn’t get fully booked straight away! Will now always make the Discovery Primea my hotel choice in Manila. Will be back next year!”

“I have stayed at many hotels in the City and have by far enjoyed this stay the most. From the moment I arrived I was greeted by warm and friendly staff who were very accommodating. The stand out for me is the apartment style facilities. A home away from home. Spacious rooms and modern appliances with a vast array of Chef inspired menu options. Will be back soon.”

“A truly exceptional hotel. Very friendly and accomodating personnel, luscious food to die for, exceptional facilities with an exceptional view of BGC, Makati and Ortigas Skyline, and top notch accessibility. We’ll be back for sure.”
Great ambiance, service and food. From the lobby to our room, the experience was beyond words could describe. Kudos especially to housekeeping for the upkeep of the room. I would definitely recommend this hotel chain to my family and friends.
